SEE Incubator Program*

Holistic and Entrepreneur-Centric, with Support from Community

* This program won’t be right for everyone, and we love working with entrepreneurs from all stages. If you’re interested in getting involved, but are not ready to participate in our Incubator program, please send us a message! There are plenty of other ways to get involved with SEE.

The SEE Incubator exists to act as a guide to help Atypical Entrepreneurs (non-conforming youth, 2SLGBTQ+, Indigenous, social, people of colour, and women who face additional barriers) and Social Innovators forward on their journey.

Our incubator program provides wraparound support, tailored to the specific needs of each entrepreneur.

We seek to act as truth sayers and a shared community of practice while accompanying you on your path.

Our next Cohort of Programming begins November 2024.

The Program includes the following Offerings:
  • Weekly Circles for community building: Engage with our team and community of entrepreneurs to share personal and business updates, and seek needed support. Dedicated one-on-one coaching sessions following each Weekly Circle, tailored to each entrepreneur’s individual needs.
  • Flexible one-on-one Venture Coaching from a dedicated team of experienced mentors invested in your wellbeing and success.
  • Access to Auntie-in-Residence Michelle Cameron, a national business leader, for mentorship and emotional support, offering practical advice with her experience as an Indigenous businesswoman.
  • In person workshops with subject matter experts on topics important to entrepreneurial journey, tailored to participants’ interests.
  • Coworking space in Winnipeg’s Exchange District, facilitating collaboration and hosting weekly circles, workshops, and co-working sessions
  • External Support Connection linking entrepreneurs with a network of partners and service providers for reduced-cost or pro-bono support
  • Funding assistance with up to a $10,000 subsidy on professional service fees (eg. design, legal, accounting, development, etc.).
  • Access to our Enclave of invested service providers who are willing to give a reduced rate because they believe in your potential to make a difference.
  • All participants agree to a confidentiality, code of conduct, and safer spaces policy to protect their ideas, IP and ensure a safe and nurturing space for all participants.

We invite 7-9 entrepreneurs into each cohort, where we learn and grow as a community of practice. Each Cohort lasts 6 months, but we stay in relationship with participants beyond the end of the formal program.

Who Can Apply:
Atypical Entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs who identify as any of the following: Indigenous, person of colour, 2SLGBTQIA+, non-conforming youth, and women who face additional barriers.

Social Entrepreneurs

Individuals building organizations focused on positive social change and benefit to community, rather than solely focusing on profit.

Any Organization Type

For Profit, Not for Profit, Teams, Sole Proprietors, Cooperatives, etc.

We accept projects of any type from any sector.

We are tech agnostic, though we use principles, practices and tools from the tech world.

We know the Entrepreneurial process is non-linear, and everyone’s journey is different and deeply personal.

We encourage participants to define success on their own terms, setting goals that are reflective to your values and goals. Our role is to help you understand your definition of success and accompany you towards that goal.

We run this program twice per year. Our next cohort starts in November 2024.

We’d love to chat with you more about it if you think you might like to participate, or have any questions.

Don’t hesitate to contact our team if you’d like more information or have any questions!
