Erica Daniels is a Cree/Ojibway award-winning filmmaker, entrepreneur, and founder of Kejic Productions, an Indigenous-owned media company dedicated to amplifying Indigenous voices and stories. Over the past 17 years, Erica has built her company into a thriving platform for Indigenous storytelling, producing award-winning documentaries while developing opportunities for Indigenous youth and communities. She co-created Spirit of the Story, a program that empowers Indigenous youth to reclaim their cultural identities through filmmaking. Erica also works closely with Elders and community members, documenting cultural knowledge and teachings to ensure these stories are preserved for future generations. Through her entrepreneurial leadership, Erica continues to create pathways for youth, strengthen Indigenous culture, and share stories that educate, inspire, and foster social change.
